Book your Bristol taxi in advance for trips to Bristol Airport, Temple Meads, or longer journeys. Enjoy fixed prices, pickups that track your flight, and round-the-clock support.
Bristol’s roads often struggle to keep up with the number of people who use them. The M32 brings traffic from the M4 and M5 into a city centre designed before cars were common. With a Clean Air Zone in place all day, your journey time can suddenly double.
Booking a Bristol taxi in advance takes away that stress. Just let us know your pickup and drop-off locations, and we’ll give you a set price before you travel. We match your pickup time to your real flight or train, so if you’re delayed, you won’t be left waiting outside with your bags.
There are no meters and no last-minute price changes.

Why book with us
Everything that makes a Bristol pickup easy.
We serve Bristol and nearby areas, depending on vehicle availability. We can pick you up from your home, hotel, office, or Bristol railway station, or Bristol Airport. Please enter your full postcode when booking so your driver can find your exact address, not just the street.
We cover all parts of Bristol, including Clifton, Redland, Bedminster, Southville, Bishopston, Horfield, Fishponds, Easton, St George, and Brislington. We also serve Bath, Keynsham, Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea, Yate, Thornbury, Chipping Sodbury, Cheddar, and Weston-super-Mare.
Three details can make your pickup go more smoothly. First, your flight number helps us track your arrival and adjust the pickup time if your flight is early or delayed, so you avoid waiting charges. Second, your meeting point is important at Temple Meads because the station has several exits, while Bristol Airport has just one terminal. Third, let us know how much luggage you have, not just the number of passengers. For example, four people with four large suitcases will need a 4-seater MPV instead of a regular car.

The M32 is the main route from the M4 and M5 into the city centre. Traffic moves slowly between 7:30 and 9:30 in the morning and again from 4:30 to 6:30 in the evening, especially since there isn’t a good alternative from the north-east. Fridays are busier than usual, and delays get worse during events at Ashton Gate or the Harbourside. When you leave the city, the M4 takes you east to London or west to Wales. The M5 links the Midlands with the south-west, and the M49 goes to Avonmouth. To reach the south coast ports, you usually take the M5 to the M4, then head south.
Keep in mind the route to the airport. The A38 at Lulsgate Bottom is a steep climb up to the terminal, and if it’s icy or raining heavily, this part of the drive can take longer than usual. The city centre is open around the clock. All our vehicles meet the required standards, so you won’t have to pay a zone charge. Temple Meads station has direct trains to London Paddington, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Exeter. Parkway station serves South Wales and the Midlands. If you need to catch a train to connect with a flight, make sure to give yourself extra time.

Bristol Airport is eight miles southwest of the city, located at Lulsgate Bottom. Since there’s only one approach road and no rail link, taxis are the most popular way to get there. A taxi from the city centre usually takes 20 to 25 minutes. With just one terminal, pickup is easy—your driver will meet you in arrivals and track your actual landing time if you provide your flight number when booking.
For longer trips, the most popular route is from Bristol to Heathrow, which is about 110 miles and takes two to two and a half hours. Bristol to Gatwick is around 130 miles and serves both terminals. Luton and Stansted are the farthest, so it’s a good idea to book early if you have an early flight. Before choosing a London airport, consider Cardiff (50 miles away) and Exeter (75 miles away). They are often cheaper for European flights and can save you about two hours of travel time.

We offer long-distance transfers from Bristol to destinations all over the UK, with a fixed price agreed before you travel. Your fare stays the same, no matter the traffic. You’ll know your driver and vehicle details in advance, so there are no surprises when you leave. Our routes cover three main directions: east on the M4 to London, Swindon, Oxford, and Reading; west and south to Cardiff, Newport, Bath, Chippenham, and Frome; and south on the M5 to Exeter, Plymouth, and Cornwall. Heading north on the M5, we reach Worcester, Gloucester, and the Midlands. We also serve Southampton, Portsmouth, and Poole for cruise and ferry connections. If you need to pick up people from different addresses, give us the full list when you book, and we’ll plan the best route. We have larger vehicles for groups, and you can book your return journey at the same time.

Bristol does not have ferry or cruise terminals for passengers, but many travellers use Bristol as a gateway to UK ports. One Airport Taxi offers fixed-price taxi transfers from Bristol to the main ferry and cruise ports.
Cruise and ferry luggage is usually bulkier than standard airport baggage, so select your vehicle based on the number and size of suitcases, not just the number of passengers. For example, a family of four with four large suitcases will need a 4-seater MPV, not a standard saloon. Journey times below are estimates and subject to traffic, so always allow extra time before your embarkation or check-in.
